What Alvic is

Alvic is a Spanish manufacturer of decorative panels and fronts, and it is best understood as a finish rather than a cabinet catalogue. The two things it is known for are deep, mirror-level high gloss and a supermatte, anti-fingerprint surface with a soft, almost chalky feel — the surfaces you have seen in contemporary European kitchens and wondered how they were done.

Because it is a panel product, it goes into kitchen fronts, media walls, bar backs, wardrobes and built-in millwork alike, in colours well outside the standard cabinet range.

Why our clients choose it

When the finish is the design, nothing else in the mid-market gets close. A supermatte navy island or a gloss white handleless run reads as architecture, not furniture, and it stays looking that way because the surfaces are engineered to resist fingerprints and scuffing.

Best for

Modern and minimalist kitchens. Media walls and built-ins where you want the joinery to disappear into a single continuous surface. Colour-driven schemes that a standard door programme cannot deliver.
